Visit to the Tower of Terror

Yesterday our Disney trip led us to MGM and the Tower of Terror.  I had forgotten what how cool the line into the Tower is.  With spooky furniture, and cobwebs covering everything, it’s the perfect inspiration for Halloween decorating.  For our haunt, we have been thinking about creating some sort of old-fashioned interactive telephone.  After this trip, I know we are going to have to build one.  That may be the very first new prop for the 2012 haunt.

The Tower itself was a blast.  Even the youngest Jingle, who is just a hair over the ride’s minimum height of 40 inches, had to go back around to ride it a second time.  The man sitting next to her looked worried that such a small child was on the ride.  Then, he was really surprised when she was the only one in the car to raise her hands up during the drop.  Way to go!

Welcome to the Haunted Mansion

Well, it’s that time of year again.  The Jingles Crew is on its annual trip to visit the Mouse.  We’re at Disney World!  The very first attraction we visited was the Haunted Mansion, of course.  I had to snap a picture of the famous hearse on the way in.

This was our first visit since the overhaul of the graveyard.  The new features are so cool!  When you go, make sure to stick to the left and touch everything!  We’re going back to ride again tomorrow.  Gotta get some more inspiration for this year’s Haunt.
